The institute applied in order to:
– improve teaching methods and learning outcomes, aligning them with international standards;
– fill in the gap in experiential learning opportunities;
– face the geographic, social and cultural disadvantage of a community with limited resources (www.simontagna.it);
– broaden horizons, promoting integration and intercultural awareness;
– build an active European citizenship, respectful of democratic values and diversity.
The project aims to:
– Ensure equal learning and training opportunities, particularly for the disadvantaged;
– Build an inclusive and democratic community, reducing cultural gaps and discrimination;
– Promote European citizenship by fostering internationalization and innovating teaching/learning processes;
– Expand the multilingual experience of teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as students;
– Foster inclusion, collaboration, tolerance, and empathy.
Placing the school in a continuous and meaningful dialogue with the European community, aiming to enhance the quality of
education, foster intercultural dialogue and participation, and promote a deeper awareness and respect for cultural diversity;
Ensuring equal educational opportunities within the school community from both cultural and socio-economic perspectives;
Overcoming linguistic, cultural, and socio-economic barriers arising from a disadvantaged area.
Planned mobility for students aged 14-17: studying in an European secondary school for 14 days. students. Favourite accomodation in host families.
