This project aims to develop an interactive and engaging education model that enhances children’s and young people’s financial literacy skills using drama and game-based learning techniques.
Goals:
- Teach fundamental financial skills (budgeting, saving, investing, debt management).
- Develop decision-making skills through real-life financial scenarios.
- Make learning fun and lasting through drama and role-playing techniques.
- Develop educational materials supported by digital and physical games.
- Raise students’ awareness of financial security and planning.
Project Concept:
Drama-Based Learning:
- Students experience financial decision-making through gamified scenarios and role-playing activities.
- For example, in the “Family Budget Management” scenario, each student plays a different family member and collectively manages a monthly budget.
Game-Based Financial Education:
- Monopoly-like board games to practice financial literacy.
- Mobile applications and digital simulations for virtual financial management.
- A story-driven game called “Finance Heroes,” where students guide a character’s life by making investment, saving, and spending decisions.
