The public school,Agrupamento de Escolas de Trancoso, was established on September 1st, 2010.
In our school there are about 700 students installed in various locations: Trancoso (4 buildings distributed by
pre-school, primary school, middle school and secondery school); Vila Franca das Naves (two buildings

distributed by pre-school, primary school and middle school); Palhais; Cogula and Freches (with only pre-
school and primary school). Our students are between the ages of 3 and 18 years old.

We have several projects that aim to empower students as protagonists of their own learning and enhance
civic and social participation and commitment.
