We are a Primary and Lower secondary school (students aged 6-15). We have about 370 students divided into nine years.
The school is in the historical Town of Banská Štiavnica, Slovakia, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1993. The town is also located in the heart of Štiavnica Hills, which is a protected natural area.
This naturally makes students interested in protecting history and nature. Knowing and understanding the history is very important for understanding the present.
We like to share our culture, traditions and history with other countries. We like to travel, discover and learn about other places. This helps us to become more tolerant and open-minded.
