Primary and Music School Matije Petra Katančića, located in the historic town of Valpovo, Croatia is a dynamic educational institution guided by the motto “We are different and equally valuable”. Our school serves as a hub for creativity, intercultural understanding, and sustainable development, providing a supportive environment where diversity is respected and every student can reach their full potential. We are highly active in the Erasmus+ program, implementing KA1 and KA2 projects such as “Making Music Together in the Spirit of Sustainability,” “Learning Without Borders,” and “Climate Guardians”. These initiatives are designed to modernize teaching methods across various subjects—including mathematics, ICT, and languages—while specifically raising awareness about climate change, ecological sustainability, and social inclusion. By integrating innovative tools like virtual reality and supporting international cooperation, we equip our students and staff with the essential skills to thrive as active members of the global community.
