“Petrache Tricu” Sports Highschool

“Petrache Triscu” Sports High School from Craiova, Dolj County, Romania educates students in the vocational sports profile, specializations: athletics, fencing, judo, badminton, wrestling, karate, gymnastics.
Currently, there are 21 classes (0-XII), with 460 students and 86 employees (65 teachers).
The daily program of each student, in addition to the usual theoretical and general culture classes belonging to the general curriculum, includes training sessions with physical education teachers specialized in a certain sport from those mentioned. Each student, depending on his abilities, belongs to a group focused on a certain sport.
The time students dedicate to sports activities most often leads to remarkable results in local / national / international sports competitions.
General culture teachers work hard to support the development of students’ knowledge and skills necessary to pass national exams and enter the labor market work.
