The Comprehensive Institute MATESE was established through a reorganization in September 2025. The campuses of the three historic institutes in our area were brought together: VENTRIGLIA (music program), VITALE, and PIEDIMONTE MATESE-CASTELLO. The new institute brings with it a rich historical heritage of extensive experience, with its gaze firmly set on the future. The educational aim of the new institute is to promote the full development of students’ personalities so that they become future citizens and competent workers within a community open to cultural and ethical dialogue, with respect for civil coexistence and the rule of law. Our Institute offers multiple types of programs: enhancement and strengthening of language skills; strengthening of musical, artistic, and theatrical competencies; development of responsible behaviors inspired by respect for legality, environmental sustainability, and heritage; digital competencies; and the prevention and countering of school dropout.
