Hatay Science and Art Center

Hatay Science and Art Center (Hatay BİLSEM), located in Antakya/Hatay, is a center for developing special talents that is affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. Gifted students that have been recognized in general intellectual, visual arts and music fields are supported outside of their school hours with science, art and projects based education. Our aim is to cultivate creative, creative-thinking, productive and socially contributing individuals.

Our vision is to help gifted students discover their individual talents, develop their capacities and cultivate them as productive, creative and creative-thinking individuals in science and art fileds at an early age. Our mission is to support the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development of students identified by experts as gifted and who demonstrate superior performance compared to their peers in intelligence, creativity, artistic talent, leadership capacity, or specific academic areas at the primary and secondary levels. To provide the students with an experiential, project based and multifaceted education accordingly to their special talents. By this means, we aim to  maximize their academic, artistic and critical potentials.
