Grundschule am Dichterviertel

we are a primary school in Muelheim / Ruhr in Germany with about 260 pupils in 9 classes learning in a cross-year concept for the classes 1 to 4. Since 2020 we are an Erasmus+ accredited school, and our plans include job shadowing visits and in a further step also visits with selected groups of pupils. In this context we would like to establish contacts with primary schools in Europe.

With regard to our school’s key objectives we would prefer to focus on environmental education, on democratisation and on children’s rights, that means on “citizenship”-topics. Of course, we are open for other topics, e.g. art, extra-curricular school activities or selected matter lessons with a link to one or more of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
