Organization strengths

The school has been fostering a creative approach to learning, interdisciplinarity, and connections on many levels for years. This approach to teaching is evident in the projects conducted at the school on school, local, national, and international levels. In addition to regular classes, the school organizes a full-day program for first and second graders and a half-day program for children at risk of developing more severe behavioral disorders. A large number of students participate in elective classes alongside regular lessons, such as computer science, a second foreign language (German), and religious education. Students are actively involved in numerous extracurricular activities, including Young Journalists, Storytelling, Drama Group, Reciters, Young Mathematicians, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Sports Club, Florists, Ecologists, Origami, Journalism and Literary Club, Playing the Tamburica, Playing the Synthesizer, Choir, Art Group, Civic Education, Junior Computer Scientists, Informatics, Deutschklub "Mihanovići," and English Debate Club. They also take part in extracurricular activities such as music and dance schools, foreign language schools, folklore groups, choir, and sports clubs. In the past seven years, the school has implemented two Erasmus+ KA1 projects and the IPA project "Eko-eko volonterko" in collaboration with the Eko Brezna Association and Antun Matija Reljković Primary School from Bebrina.
