Organization strengths

CYCLADES UNIFIED Team has developed and implemented workshops and projects in the Cyclades aimed to educate the youth and adults on the issue of tackling cultural heritage, environmental issues encouraging leadership and entrepreneurship among youth, as well as promoting voluntary activities and active citizenship in the EU. Since our organisation's foundation, we have participated in a series of workshops and lectures with the municipalities and schools. Through the years, we have successfully organized and completed a series of programs/projects focusing on sustainability and plastic ban; targeting the empowerment for social and personal development. Being an official member of the CYCLADORAMA initiative along with 48 ngos we work as part of the group to sustain vulnerable Natura regions, especially on the island of Polyaigos. Specific goal 1: to improve the quality of public services related to youth empowerment on environmental issues, in the Cultural Sector within the networks of the transnational association, organizing exchanges of good practices and exploring areas of self-employment within the participating countries, sharing experiences, and multiplying positive actions at the local level. Currently CYCLADES UNIFIED takes part in the RESILIAGE Project Associated CORE Lab https://resiliage.eu/the-newly-appointed-core-associated-labs/?fbclid=IwY2xjawJjn-JleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHs-rW1W-cC8uZvrjFcZsCghz5cMejg28bu2QbCz6wlq-3TPkrvf_IdaW4s61_aem_l5zPhUn9U90Y4ATt-NuTDw territories with the view to develop new ideas and activities within the community.
