Colegiul Național Pedagogic „Regele Ferdinand”

Colegiul Național Pedagogic Regele Ferdinand is a long-established educational institution located in Sighetu Marmației, in the northern part of the Transylvania region. Our school brings together approximately 1,000 students and covers all levels of pre-university education: early ante-preschool, preschool, primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary education.

At upper secondary level, our main profile is pedagogical studies, with the mission of training future early childhood educators and primary school teachers. Our college has solid experience in implementing European projects and is actively involved in international cooperation programmes that support the professional development of both teachers and students, encourage the exchange of good practices, and promote European values in education.

Through tradition, professionalism, and openness to international partnerships, we promote academic excellence, inclusive education, and the development of the key competences required of modern teachers, prepared to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving society.
