Vrtec Ledina

You will be able to contact the Coordinator of this organization only once you have logged in or created an account.

Vrtec Ledina is a public kindergarten located in the centre of Ljubljana and was founded by the City of Ljubljana. Children aged 1–6 are enrolled in morning, afternoon, alternating, and adapted programmes for children with special needs (SEN). We are the only kindergarten in Ljubljana that offers all four programmes. Children with SEN are also included in the first three programmes, following an adapted curriculum with additional professional support.

The kindergarten operates from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Through our focus areas of mental health and physical activity, as well as our sustainability-oriented programmes (Eco-Kindergarten, Forest Pedagogy, NTC Learning, Incredible Years, Step to the Sun, Open Your Heart, and Vrtec Ledina’s Sustainable Development Plan), we ensure high-quality implementation of our work and actively involve parents in our projects. All of these are vital for developing self-esteem, emotional resilience, and mental flexibility, contributing to a sustainable society. All programmes and all professional staff members are included in project activities.
