Smiltene Technical School, established in 1922, is one of the leading vocational education institutions in Latvia, offering programs in veterinary medicine, construction, road construction, tourism, and lifelong learning. We are the only school in Latvia providing a vocational education program in road construction at the VET level and take pride in being the oldest institution in the country training veterinary medicine assistants. Smiltene Technical School offers a modern learning environment, combining theoretical knowledge and practical skills through collaboration with industry-leading companies.
We are actively seeking international cooperation partners in all the specialties we offer through the Erasmus+ program to enhance student internship opportunities abroad and facilitate knowledge exchange between educational institutions.
