OLVA Assebroek – Bruges

You will be able to contact the Coordinator of this organization only once you have logged in or created an account.

I’m a teacher in the first grade of secondary school (pupils aged 12-14) in a school in the suburbs of Bruges. Our school has about 600 pupils. I teach English, history, geography and language study.  We are mainly working with our 2nd year pupils in the Language Study lessons to work on international projects.

We are new to exchange programs but are willing to look for partner schools for long term exchange projects. We had a Swedish school coming to Bruges in january 2024, this was our first international experience. We are awaiting if our application of 2/2024 for a budget will be granted, to go on student mobility somewhere in the next schoolyear 2024-2025. We would be working on climate change and evironment.

We won’t be able to do something more in the schoolyear 2023-2024 (only digital probably, no student mobility), but looking forward to students and teachers in the schoolyear 2024-2025.

I’m also interested in jobshadowing in Scandinavian schools, preferably Norwegian, since I also study Norwegian in my free time, and I want to learn more about education there.

If you are interested in exchange project with older pupils, don’t hesitate to contact me. I can ask the teacher team if they can work on a programme with you.
