Colegiul National „Vasile Alecsandri”

The “V. Alecsandri” National College is a prestigious institution of education in Iasi, whose beginnings date is back to 1880. Through the activities carried out, we propose:

– to train and develop competencies, skills and abilities that allow the dynamic integration of graduates in a constantly changing society;

– to create an organizational ethos based on social and professional responsibility, moral integrity, trust and collaboration;

– to carry out sustainable projects and programs, which promote local, national and European values, raising the prestige of the high school.

We currently educate approximately 920 students grouped in 34 classes (13 middle school classes, 21 high school classes). Most lower secondary school classes have intensive programs for the study of a foreign language (English, French or German). At the high school, we have classes with a real or humanistic profile, of which one class per level has bilingual education (French or German).
