Centre for lifelong learning and culture Bjelovar

The Centre performs numerous activities that positively affect the quality of life in the town of Bjelovar. With a wide range of educational programmes, the Centre offers adults the opportunity for numerous trainings and improvements. Also, through after work workshops, the Centre becomes a place where adults can relax and express their creative side of personality.

The Centre has become an indispensable meeting place for younger generations as well, where free educational and creative workshops for children are held. We are proud of the Small School of Animated Film, where our students created a high-quality and warm animated film “Friendship of Two Beings”, which won several awards at international and national animated film festivals.

The Centre is the organizer and creator of numerous cultural events in the town of Bjelovar. In 2023, the Centre organized for the first time the festival “Zbrda zdola”, where numerous young bands had the
opportunity to present themselves to the Bjelovar audience. Also, in 2023, for the first time, we organized the largest manifestation in the town, “Terezijana”, which attracted a large number of people from the
surrounding area through numerous urban contents. We have been organizing the extremely successful theatre festival called BOK fest for 20 years.
