You will be able to contact the Coordinator of this organization only once you have logged in or created an account.

Our school is a Public Secondary school, a General High School, situated in Larisa,Thessaly, on the outskirts of the town, in a mainly working class suburb. The school provides a general curriculum program, preparing students to take part in the final national exams for the Greek Universities.
We are a really active school with a European and environmental vision (weather and electromagnetic radiation stations are installed). We try to include less privileged students to active learning and thus to empower teenagers to be well qualified for personal development in order to be
active citizens, based on humanitarian, democratic and European values.
We successfully participate every year in European projects, (3 Erasmus+in the  last years), having distinctions in national educational and other programmes, academic competitions, activities dedicated on special days and awards during school sports championships. Our school is also open to seminars and lectures concerning current issues.

During the current academic year we provide education to 386 students (15 -18 years old).

Organization strengths

The school philosophy is to promote, support and encourage the teachers' lifelong learning and professional development by organizing learning events, lectures, seminars and workshops for teachers in collaboration with experts and organisations. All teachers and students are encouraged to be successfully involved in National/International and European projects. After 20 years of participating in European programmes (Comenius and Erasmus+) we have the experience and the knowledge to increase the effectiveness of the programmes. We successfully participate every year in European projects, (3 Erasmus+in the  last years), having distinctions in national educational and other programmes, academic competitions, activities dedicated on special days and awards during school sports championships. Our school is also open to seminars and lectures concerning current issues. The majority of our graduates who have experience of a school Erasmus programme, don't hesitate to take part in Erasmus+ programmes when they are students in Universities, they travel and work a lot abroad in Europe because they have already created networks, connections and relationships in a larger european level and they feel part of the big european family.
