The 2nd General Senior High School of Giannitsa is a public secondary school located in Northern Greece, approximately 50 km west of Thessaloniki. Giannitsa belongs to the Municipality of Pella, a mainly rural area with rich historical heritage, closely associated with the wider region that was the birthplace of Alexander the Great.
Our school serves around 200 students aged 15 to 18, supported by approximately 25 teachers working either full-time or part-time.
Recently, we were granted for an Erasmus+ KA122 a project entitled “AI, Can You Please Help Me Teach, Inspire and Make the Class Reach the Sky?”
Within the framework of this project, we are currently looking for two partner schools:
-
one to host job shadowing activities for two teachers, and
-
one to host a group mobility of 10 students accompanied by 2 teachers.
We are particularly interested in schools that integrate Artificial Intelligence applications into their teaching practices.

Organization strengths
Our school is strongly committed to providing high-quality, well-rounded education while actively participating in European programmes and international collaborations. With extensive experience in Erasmus+ initiatives, we continuously seek innovation and the exchange of good practices at a European level. A key priority for our school is the meaningful integration of new technologies and Artificial Intelligence into teaching and learning. Through innovative methodologies, digital tools, and student-centred approaches, we aim to implement differentiated instruction that responds to diverse learning needs. By doing so, we strive to maximise learning outcomes, promote inclusion, and equip our students with essential 21st-century skills in a dynamic and future-oriented educational environment.
