Our main aim is to develop our students’ socio – emotional skills through art,music,drama and sport activities.We hope to increase our students’ self awareness,self management,social awareness,relationship skills and responsible decision making competencies that are considered the most significant factors be an active citizen in rapidly changing new world.
Altough they need to have both cognitive and non-cognitive competences and resources to achive their goals,OECD 2018 report showed that high school students between the ages of 14-18 experience difficulties in socio-emotional skills.The 2018 NESET analytical report also emphasized that students’ competencies in the field of SEL are vital in supporting active citizenship and lifelong learning principles.Our aim is to raise a world citizen who is ready and self-confident in every field in
a rapidly developing and renewing world.Therefore we are looking for a reliable partner school that will host 2 of our students for 3 weeks, active in drama, sports, music and art,for our K121 socio-emotional learning themed project. This is our call to schools that are interested in this field and have good practice examples. We would like to welcome you with pleasure with the friendship ties that will be established within the scope of short-term student mobility of our students between the ages of 13-17 from Turkey.
