Abstract:

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AAST), a leading institution in the MENA region for technological and maritime education, is excited to propose the EcoMobiTech project under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education. This project aims to integrate green mobility and sustainable transportation technologies into higher education curricula, with a special focus on electric vehicles (EVs) and EV charging infrastructure.

Objectives:

  1. Curriculum Development: To develop and implement innovative courses and modules focusing on EV technology, sustainable urban planning, and the environmental impacts of transportation.
  2. Industry-Academia Partnership: To foster collaboration between educational institutions and industry stakeholders for practical exposure and knowledge exchange in the field of sustainable mobility.
  3. Research and Innovation: To encourage research initiatives in green transportation technologies, emphasizing practical solutions for EV charging and sustainability challenges.
  4. Skill Enhancement: To equip students and professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to the green mobility sector.
